The restorative yoga teacher training offers a comprehensive and thorough exploration into teaching restorative yoga with an understanding of the nervous system, stress and trauma. You will also learn how to incorporate pranayama, mindfulness, mindful movement, meditation and yoga nidra into class to help calm the nervous system. You will also learn how to weave restorative asanas into a regular yoga class or workshop to best support your students.

Through gaining understanding of the nervous system you will learn how restorative yoga can support this through cultivating deep rest and restoration. You will explore the difference between stress and trauma, when restorative yoga is beneficial (or not) and how to teach with an awareness of this in order to ensure students remain safe.

The restorative yoga courses are offered in a self paced format that you can start any time. They are also offered in a live format at set dates throughout the year. Next live dates: 2, 9, 10 & 11th May!
