Supporting a more inclusive yoga space
Having taught extensively in education, voluntary and community settings I recognise how beneficial yoga can be and yet how alienating and financially out of reach it often is. I want to support new teachers from a range of backgrounds and/or who want to teach outside the mainstream setting in a hope to contribute to a more balanced ‘industry’ where yoga is taught and practiced by everyone.
What does the scholarship include and involve?
Unfortunately I’m not in a position to offer free spaces on the yoga teacher training course. The scholarship offers a reduction of up to 20% depending on the number of applicants and the course option. The remaining course fees can then be paid in instalments.
Who are our scholarships for?
I’m looking to support teachers who wouldn’t be able to take the yoga teacher training without some financial assistance. I am really keen to welcome people who work in the voluntary and community sector (eg education, health, social care, charity) as well as those who are under-resourced and under-represented in the yoga world. If you do not fall into these categories but still require some financial assistance please do contact me, I will try my best to help.
How do you apply?
Simply get in touch with me to fill out an application form. If you are not chosen for a scholarship place you will still be more than welcome to join us as a fee paying student.
