This unique self paced, online yoga teacher training is designed to fit around your life, family and work without compromising on quality and learning experience. Study when you want, how you want, with ongoing 1:1 support, regular teaching feedback and personal guidance to ensure you become the best yoga teacher.

Making yoga teacher training inclusive and accessible is hugely important to me; the self paced yoga teacher training allows for this. It follows the same syllabus as the in person yoga teacher training, with learning delivered via a comprehensive online learning platform, video lectures, written and practical tasks, video feedback and ongoing 1:1 support. However, you can learn at a pace and time that suits you; perfect if your time is limited or you aren’t able to get to a yoga studio. The cost is naturally more affordable too, with payment plans available. A small number of students are taken onto this course each year, ensuring you receive the proper attention and care.

Nathalie is very supportive and the course lay out is perfect for me. I’m self employed and have little time to come in person to learn a course so this self paced course work’s alongside my busy work schedule. Anytime I need feedback or have a question Nathalie responds quickly and is very knowledgable. The learning materials are very clear, there are videos, that make the learning very easy to follow.

About the course

The self paced online 200 hour yoga teacher training is incredibly accessible, with content organised into easy to follow modules that explore all the same content as our live trainings. You will be introduced to the different facets of yoga, from mudra to mantra, asana, meditation, pranyama as well as yoga history and philosophy. As you’re introduced to different styles of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow yoga, Ashtanga, Restorative and Yin, you naturally develop your own teaching voice. An awareness of inclusivity and trauma sensitivity underpins the course, recognising the importance of being able to adapt what and how you teach to suit the needs of your students. There is so much more to yoga than asana, and the course encourages you to explore the more internal aspects of yoga, helping you bring yoga it the way you live too.

Due to the flexibility and self directed nature of the course, the length of time it takes can vary. Together, we set a training schedule which helps to keep you accountable. It’s recommend the course is completed within 10-12 months, and it must be completed within 24 months.

This course is registered with Yoga Alliance as a 200 hour yoga teacher training

How the course is delivered

An online learning platform on Teachable is used to deliver the self paced 200 hour yoga teacher training. This includes a combination of bite-size video lectures supported by written content, so that you can read along as you watch. Reflection, practical and theoretical tasks make the course accessible regardless of your learning style. The content has been organised so that you can dip in and out, recognising you may be fitting study around a busy life!

Ongoing whatsap and email support allows you to ask questions whenever you need, with regular/monthly 1:1 Zoom sessions to support and embed learning. In this way, the course is more like ‘1:1 yoga teacher training’! Throughout the year, I also offer the self paced course as a group cohort, providing opportunity to learn with others as well.

You are asked to submit tasks as you make your way through the course which includes videos of you teaching. This allows for feedback as you’re learning, making sure that you develop your teaching skills properly. This is a unique way to deliver ‘self paced’ learning, and the limited number of people accepted onto this pathway ensures I am able to fully support all students in this way.

What makes our course so special?

The self paced online yoga teacher training is pretty unique! It gives you all the freedom and flexibility to study in your own time and pace, without feeling like you’re left on your own. You’re not just another number, you’re a student who I take great care in supporting and teaching. Together, we agree a timescale for your study to help keep you accountable, with regular video, email and whatsap check-ins.

Unlike a lot of self paced courses that require you to submit coursework at the end, on this course you are asked to send regular work for feedback, including videos of you teaching. You then receive guidance on how to improve as you go through the course, ensuring you finish the course feeling confident in your ability.

Having worked in education and yoga since 2009, I really understand not just how to teach yoga but how to teach! Click the link below to find out more about me and my background.

None of it is intimating, all of it is engaging and easy to put down and pick up whenever you want. Working through this content has been a joy.
